This Shipping Policy explains how Dominga Clothing delivers orders placed on our website within Sri Lanka. By placing an order, you agree to the delivery practices described here together with our Terms & Conditions.
Delivery areas
We currently ship to addresses across Sri Lanka where our courier partners operate. Remote or restricted areas may require additional time or surcharges; we will contact you if your address needs special handling.
Delivery charges
- Standard delivery: for orders below LKR 5,000 (subtotal before discounts), a flat LKR 350 shipping fee applies at checkout.
- Free shipping: orders with a merchandise subtotal of LKR 5,000 or more qualify for free standard delivery to one Sri Lanka address per order (subject to promotion terms if a campaign explicitly varies this).
- Heavy or bulky parcels: orders with total weight above approximately 1 kg may incur additional charges per incremental weight band imposed by the courier. If applicable, we will show any extra fee at checkout or confirm with you before dispatch.
Processing and delivery time
- Orders are typically processed within 1–2 business days after payment confirmation (excluding public holidays and peak sale periods, when processing may take longer).
- Colombo & suburbs (postal districts commonly referenced as 1–15): delivery usually within 1–3 working days after dispatch, subject to courier routing.
- Outside Colombo / outstation: delivery generally takes 3–7 working days from the date of dispatch, depending on location and weather or traffic disruptions.
- Timeframes are estimates only; we are not liable for delays caused by couriers, customs-style inspections (if ever applicable), force majeure, or incorrect/incomplete addresses.
Cash on delivery (COD)
Where Cash on Delivery is offered as a payment option, our delivery agent may contact you before arrival to confirm the delivery window and the payable amount. Please ensure someone is available at the address with the correct cash amount; repeated failed deliveries may result in cancellation of future COD eligibility.
Sundays, public holidays, and order cut-off
- Deliveries may not be scheduled on Sundays or public holidays in Sri Lanka; parcels will move on the next working day.
- Orders placed on a public holiday are processed from the next working day.
Address accuracy and failed delivery
You are responsible for providing a complete delivery address and a reachable phone number. If a parcel is returned because of an incorrect address, refusal, or repeated failed contact attempts, we may charge reasonable re-delivery fees or cancel the order in line with our Returns & Refunds Policy.
Title and risk
Risk of loss for the goods passes to you upon delivery to the address specified in your order (or to a person you authorise at that address), except where mandatory consumer law provides otherwise.
